My partner and I were able to stay at the Hilton Garden Inn near the Capitol of Austin during SXSW 2025. We needed to find a place to stay in Austin and we decided on the Hilton Garden Inn as it was close to downtown for SXSW. Here are our thoughts of our one night stay there!
What we enjoyed:
- The comfortable bed
- The bed was very comfortable and I enjoyed laying down on there. I was instantly asleep when you were laying on that comfortable mattress.
- The delicious breakfast
- The buffet breakfast had some items that I cherished big time. I never seen a hotel buffet with chorizo and eggs and it was so delicious.
What we didn’t enjoy:
- The Television wasn’t working well
- We were trying to watch the big game on TV and it wasn’t working well. We had called the office and they sent someone up, but he was like I can try but it will have to be down downstairs and left quite quickly. The television never really worked at all after he left.
All in All, it was a good place to stay during SXSW or any other event. The food and comfort level was exciting, but trying to watch a basketball game on TV was disturbing.
