BANDERA, TEXAS – (June 27, 2025] – Get ready for a rip-roarin’ good time this Independence Day as Bandera, Texas, the Cowboy Capital of the World, pulls out all the stops for an unforgettable 4th of July celebration! From thrilling rodeo action to a charming pet parade and even a unique wrestling spectacle, there’s something for everyone to enjoy in true Wild West style.

HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDE:

 

  • Non-Stop Rodeo Action: Experience the thrill of professional rodeo at the Riding on Faith Rodeo Summer Series at Mansfield Park on Friday, July 4th, at 8:00 PM.

 

  • Patriotic Parade & Market: The annual 4th of July Parade will march down Main Street on Saturday, July 5th, at 11:00 AM, followed by a 4th of July Market on the Courthouse Lawn from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

 

  • Free Hot Dogs & Fun at Bandera Brewery: Join the Independence Day Bash at Bandera Brewery on Friday, July 4th, starting at 12:00 PM. This event features live music, a veteran celebration, a best pie contest, food & beer specials, fireworks, and a Hot Dog Eating Contest (entry fee applies for contest, but general attendance and access to specials).

 

  • Extreme Dwarfanators Wrestling: For a truly unique experience, witness the Extreme Dwarfanators Wrestling at Bandera Brewery on Wednesday, July 2nd, at 7:00 PM, and at Bandera Ale Project on Tuesday, July 1st, at 6:00 PM.

 

  • Annual Pet Parade: Bring your beloved companions to the 29th Annual Pet Parade at Bandera City Park on Friday, July 4th, with registration at 9:00 AM and the parade starting at 10:00 AM. This free, family-friendly event features patriotic costumes, look-alike contests, and various categories for all kinds of pets. Free parking and admission for parade attendees!
