San Antonio native learns about photography aboard USS Iwo Jima

Posted on February 12, 2025 by utsadeli

Lt. j.g. Gina Gulli, (left) from Tucson, Arizona, instructs Culinary Specialist 1st Class Corey Hartfield, from San Antonio, Texas, both assigned to the San Antonio-Class amphibious transport dock USS San Antonio (LPD 17), on basic photography for operational visual information documentation during a training held aboard the Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7). San Antonio and Iwo Jima are both executing basic-phase qualification evolutions for sea readiness. Iwo Jima is the flagship of the Iwo Jima Amphibious Ready Group, a force uniquely positioned to deter aggression; project power through presence abroad; and execute contingency missions with its integrated Marine Corps team in support of U.S. strategic interests.
