US Air Force Band Plays San Antonio for Holiday Performances!

JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-LACKLAND, Texas

The US Air Force Band of the West concert band will be traveling to six cities in Texas to perform concerts in their annual Holiday in Blue performances. These shows are a family friendly tradition of musical favorites and a holiday gift to the American public!

Based in San Antonio, Texas, the USAF Band of the West is comprised of 61 highly-trained professional musicians who have dedicated themselves to serving their country through music. Whether performing for live, radio, or television audiences, these Airman are dedicated to enhancing community relations, promoting esprit de corps, and connecting with millions each year.

As musical ambassadors of the United States Air Force, the Band of the West travels more than 125,000 miles annually and provides hundreds of free performances to military and civilian audiences throughout Texas and the surrounding states. The Band is made up of multiple large and small ensembles and can blend seamlessly into any event!

You can see the USAF Band of the West perform during the following dates and locations:

  • December 6, Morton Ranch HS – Katy, TX
  • December 7, University of Houston – Houston, TX
  • December 9 and 10, The Majestic Theater – San Antonio, TX
  • December 13, Forney HS – Forney, TX
  • December 14, TCU – Fort Worth, TX
  • December 15, Eisemann Center – Richardson, TX
