SAN ANTONIO (April 16, 2025) — Spurs Give is tipping off the 2025 Fiesta season by introducing three new medals – 2025 Spurs, Coyote and San Antonio FC. The medals celebrate unity and growth between the San Antonio Spurs and the vibrant local community.
Beginning today, fans can purchase the Spurs and SAFC medals for $15 each and the Coyote medal for $12 on the Spurs Fan Shop. All proceeds from medal sales will support Spurs Give.
The Fiesta medals will help Spurs Give with their efforts to strengthen and serve the community through impactful programming, player engagements and community investments that enrich the lives of San Antonio youth and those around them. The nonprofit runs several programs throughout the city, including Spurs Youth Basketball League, Play SA and youth scholarships.
The Spurs medal showcases the team logo and a basketball surrounded by colorful, light-up flowers atop a parade float, in a nod to the city’s Fiesta parades and Spurs basketball. The SAFC medal highlights a soccer ball wrapped in a “Viva SAFC” banner, complete with flowers and a spinning cascarón for a playful touch. Rounding out the collection, the Coyote medal features the Spurs mascot spinning in front of a bright green star, posed as a chicken-on-a-stick to honor the Fiesta food favorite. All three medals feature a ribbon with the classic teal, pink and orange Fiesta colors to showcase spirit this season.
“The Spurs Fiesta medals are more than a fundraiser – it’s a tradition that has allowed fans to join us in giving back to our community, raising nearly $1 million over the last ten years,” said Julie McCarty, Director Community Investments at Spurs Sports & Entertainment. “Every year, we are thoughtful in creating designs that illustrate the spirit and fun of Fiesta across all of our San Antonio teams, and we’re excited to be showcasing that again this year.”
